Thing Revisited
The original picture was mostly orange with a circular ground in black. The same fractal setting were used, the image zoomed in a bit and the colouring methods and colour maps changed. Thing itself looks to me like some fantastic headdress. Available as a print, poster or card from the shop, Redbubble and Artflakes.
The glow of the background really makes the fractal pop! I like it. Quite a ‘feminine’ piece.
The colouring methods used has a huge affect on the final result as does the set of colours used, sometimes an initially relative dull fractal just “pops”. This one appears be floral, so yes, it is quite feminine.
