A bug fix release of Saturn and Titan (4.1.1) and the first release of Neptune and Triton (1.0.0) are now available for download from the software downloads page. Release notes are available on the Saturn and Titan Release Notes and Neptune and Triton Release Notes pages.
Neptune’s splash screen, icon and Triton’s icon are shown below:
Note: the splash screen and icon’s are “multiple critical point fractals”. A multiple critical point fractal is constructed out of the pictures produced using different critical points.

Neptune-triton-1.0.0 msi is malicious, and Chrome has blocked it,
saturn-titan-4.1.1.msi is malicious and Chrome has blocked it.
I dismissed the message the two files were in my downloads directory as files names Unconfirmed.nnnnn.crdownload (nn=numerals).
McAfee didn’t detect anything scanning the files so I’ll rename the Unconfirmed ….crdownload files as msi click it and see what happens.
If I don’t post again soon (because my PC is trashed), perhaps future folks should be careful?
I hope this is just Chrome being fastidious and requiring digital signatures (which would cost element90 money).
PC is still working!
I cant seem to be able to load my old Ultra Fractal Gradients.
I’ve imported some, they show in the Edit->Fractal Settings dialog under the colour maps tab.
I can select one of my old palettes from the list on the left but the save button remains greyed and it doesn’t alter the colours in the fractal picture.
Suppose I should ummm…. like…. download and read the manual 😉
The colour maps tab is for editing colour maps. To change the colours in the fractal picture use the colour tab.
There were false positive virus reports for versions 2.0.x in 2012. I’ve checked the files using http://www.virustotal.com and all virus checkers report the files as clean. Fortunately the software is free of charge so there is no money to lose.
